How Infrared Saunas Work

Remember ROY G. BIV, the acronym for the sequence of colors created when a prism splits white light into its constituent colors? Infrared (which means “below red”) is the invisible light just outside that prism, right next to the red light. Sunlight is 52-55% infrared. Experiencing Salt 360’s Sunlighten Infrared Sauna

When you begin your session, you select one of six preset programs depending on your health goals and needs. You simply make your selection then sit back and let the heaters emit precise combinations of near, mid and far wavelengths in order for the benefits to begin.

Salt 360 charges a low $35 flat fee for the infrared sauna experience, or $55 for couples. A session will last between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on which program a client selects.

Preset Health Programs

Detox (37 minutes / mid and far waves)

Sunlighten’s infrared heating technology is clinically proven to raise core body temperature by three degrees.
